New Show Managers: For our 2010 Show, we would like to welcome our new Show Managers : John and Elaine Robinson
We were the most surprised people on earth when we were asked if we would consider running the ‘Jersey’ show. Our initial re-action was to decline saying we did more that enough shows, as it was, but the more we heard about The Jersey Show, the more tempting it became, with the obvious outcome.
Having said that – we are actually delighted (though still shocked) to have been asked and even more delighted to have accepted.
For those of you who don’t know us, we Manage quite a few shows over here on the main land – some people think we are mad, and so do we at times but, we really do enjoy putting a show together & hopefully making it as enjoyable as we can for everyone.
John has been round the world a few times with the Williams Formula 1 Racing Team but, he has never been to Jersey ! I haven’t been round the world but, I have been to Jersey ! Just the once many years ago when I was a Rep. for Schwartz Spices – they held a big conference on the Island, with a couple of days to enjoy the sights.
We used to show & breed Siamese & Balinese under our Prefix Lanimax, we loved doing both but unfortunately, because of the number of weekends we are away putting on shows, we gave it up a couple of years ago. We miss having kittens around the house though!
We have made a lot of very good friends over the years, at the shows, & look forward to counting ‘The Jersey’ in with them.
Here’s to a really good entry on 24th April 2010 – See you all there !!!!
Note : We will be putting on the NEW PEDIGREE PETS classes in the Household Pet Section. These classes are for Registered Pedigree Pets & Half Pedigree Pets. Certificates for MASTER CAT titles will be on offer for the winning cats. So please enter your lovely pets for all to see & admire.

CONGRATULATIONS: Recently two “Jersey Cat Club” Members Suzanne Tomlinson and her daughter Sarah, won prestigious Awards with their Show Cats.
Both have made the Cats up to “Imperial Grand” status. To gain this Award Five Imperial Classes have to be won.
Firstly Sarah’s “Grand Champion Chandisse Leviticus”, bred by her became the first Longhair Persian in the Channel Islands to become an “Imperial Grand Champion”.
Shortly afterwards, her mother Suzanne had her “Grand Champion & Grand Premier Pellarn Gaiety Girl” made up to an “Imperial Grand Premier”. Gaiety Girl was also bred by Suzanne. This again is the first Persian Longhair Neuter from the Channel Islands to win this Award.
These Awards have been earned against strong competition from qualified Cats at the Mainland Shows.
